Search GEPIR to identify who holds the license for any GS1 barcode number globally
GEPIR (Global Electronic Party Information Registry) is a unique, Internet-based service that gives access to basic contact information for companies that are subscribers of GS1. There are over 1 million companies, in over 100 countries, on the registry.
These subscriber companies use GS1's globally unique numbering system (e.g. GTIN, GLN and SSCC) to identify their products, physical locations, or shipments.
You can search by:
- Company name, or
- Product barcode number: Global Trade Item Number (GTIN -- EAN/UPC), or
- Location number: Global Location Number (GLN), or
- Logistic unit or pallet number: Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC)
GEPIR provides information on the authorised owner of a GS1 barcode.
