Renew Barcode Subscription
All GS1 barcode subscriptions have a validity period. To continue to use GS1 barcodes on your products beyond this period, you need to renew your subscription well before its expiry, which is communicated to you through renewal reminder letters.
Subscription validity period is arrived at based on the table below:

Note: Access to your DataKart account is dependent on the renewal of your barcode subscription. If your subscription is not renewed, your product information in DataKart will be de-activated and will not be visible to consumers through the Smart Consumer app and to your retailers/buyers.
Renew your barcode subscription in 3 simple steps
1. Check renewal fees
Your fees depend on the number of barcodes you subscribed for. Renewing for a longer duration provides greater savings.

*All fees include 15% service tax.
Renewing your barcode subscription within 15 days of expiry of validity will not attract any penalty. After 15 days, a penalty of ₹1,150 will be charged for next 30 days, beyond which your barcode subscription will be terminated.
