Early in year 1994, Intellicon began its operations in the then nascent field of Automatic Identification and Data Collection in India. Our initial focus was on the Barcode based data collection and identification for the Industrial Applications. Our first tie-up with US based manufacturer Welch Allyn has paid us rich dividends due to extremely wide product range and excellent performance of their products. Other barcode product suppliers, like Datamax Corp., Metrologic Corp. and Cobra systems, all based in US, have enriched our product line-up and given us the capability to address various barcode scanning and printing problems. Products from Percon Inc., a manufacturer of Hand-held, portable terminals with integrated Barcode scanning capability allows us to offer the most economical and efficient data collection solutions for the remote, Off-line data collection. Subsequently, Intellicon also offers the MICR Check Reader products, meant for the POS applications. Intellicon has recently broadened its ADC operations to the exciting new field of RF ID, Radio Frequency Identification with the help of High Frequency ID Tags, in association with the Swedish company Tag Master AB, a world leader in the field. Today Intellicon is also poised to launch other RF Data Communication products associated with the ADC field, like RF scanners, Hand-held Terminals etc. Also, resulting from our association with Gemplus, is our presence in the field of Smartcards based solutions.

Associated with these products and in addition to the engineering solutions based on these products, Intellicon is now also in a position to provide various data processing s/w. solution on varied platforms using our own internal resources of our development team.
