  • GS1 India inks pact with GeM GS1 India, a standards organisation set up by the commerce and industry ministry, on Friday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with public procurement platform GeM. It will enable GeM's buyers and vendors to access accurate and standardised information on attributes of thousands of products across categories, empowering them to make more informed decisions, the ministry said in a statement. To Introduce FASTags Across All Toll Lanes In India Within Four Months Road Transport and Highways Minister, Nitin Gadkari has announced FASTags for all toll lanes in India, in the next four months. The minister made the announcement at the 58th SIAM Annual Convention in Delhi. Gadkari also addressed several other issues at the convention, attended by most major automakers and the media.
